For SACCO staff

Books for the SACCO
counter.

A teller posts the cash. An admin approves the loan. The day closes on a figure you can count back from the drawer.

What the counter can post

All features

Join a member

Name, phone, and national ID. On the same visit: the fee, the minimum shares, and an opening deposit.

Cash, bank, mobile

Each row has a channel. Cash sits in the drawer. Bank and mobile money sit in their own pots.

Loans with a schedule

Flat monthly interest, a due date each month, and guarantors who pledge savings until the loan is paid.

The day book

Cash in, cash out, new members, and the loans that are late. Close when the drawer matches.

A row you do not edit

A mistake is a reversal. Yesterday’s receipt still says what happened at the counter.

Receipt and passbook

Print the row you just posted, or the member’s book, with amounts marked once as UGX.

A morning at the counter

  1. 1

    Open the drawer

Count the float. It is a count, not a ledger entry.

  2. 2

    Post the movement

Join, deposit, withdraw, disburse, or take a repayment. Each one is a row.

  3. 3

    Close on the cash

The drawer should equal the morning float plus cash in, minus cash out.

Priced for one counter

Pricing

Prices in Uganda shillings. Counter is the books. Society adds reminders. Beyond adds USSD and a member portal.

Counter

43,000 a month

One SACCO, one branch, and the people who stand at that counter.

Beyond

Written with you

USSD, a member access portal and wallet, and several SACCOs if you need them.

What PAR 30 is counting

It is the share of active loan money that is more than 30 days late. One old installment can put a whole loan in that share.

A mistake is a new row

Posted cash is not corrected by changing yesterday. The correction is a reversal, with its own time and its own name.

Partners who already sit in the room

Promoters who open societies. Trainers who spend a week at the counter. Auditors who want a row that was never edited.
